Canyon House & Rosewood Ave where the fire jumped Highway 62, June 22.
(June 22th 2005) Firefighters continue to be challenged by low fuel moistures, steep terrain, and high temperatures. The majority of the firefighting is occcurring on the South East side of Morongo Valley. Due to inaccessibility, hand crews are being flown into these areas, where they are cutting hand line around the remainder of the fire.


The site of the historic barn below Covington Park. The barn was destrioyed by the Paradise Fire 6-22-05.

Some of the Preserve trails were destroyed by the fire.
